The Wolverine director James Mangold has tweeted a new image from the film via his Twitter account.
He posted the still a few days ago with the caption: “A production snap from shooting a wood chopping scene in Omishima. We found an eight inch caterpillar that morning.”
Opening this coming July, The Wolverine is based on the celebrated comic book arc, were we find Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan.
There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
The Wolverine hits cinema screens on July 26, and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.
