Jennifer Morrison has quit Once Upon a Time and will not be back as a series regular if the show gets renewed for a seventh season.
The actress, who plays Emma Swan in the fantasy series, broke the news on her Instagram account on Monday.
In her message, she said: “After very careful consideration, I have decided that creatively and personally, it is time for me to move on. Emma Swan is one of my favourite characters that I have ever played. My six years on Once Upon a Time has changed my life in the most beautiful ways. I am absolutely blown away by the passion and commitment of the Oncer fans. I am so honoured to have been a central part of such a special show.”
Morrison added that she will appear in one episode of season seven, if ABC picks the series up for another year.
