Paul Giamatti does a little research on the set of Amazing Spider-Man 2!

I think it’s a little late for Paul Giamatti to get familiar with source material. In these pics by Fan-Girl.Org you can see, the actor is checking out a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #41 (1966), the first appearance of his character the Rhino.

The tattoo across his forehead is a common Russian prison tat meaning: life imprisonment with no possibility of parole.

“In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Chris Cooper, Felicity Jones and Sally Field.

The film is set to swing into theaters May 2nd, 2014.
