Get ready for the new daily show

Possible return from under the bedrock for the Flintstones.

Get in your cars, push your feet through the bottom and push your way home cos there’s news of a new Flintstones series coming our way.

We have news that Warner Bros Animation along with Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions (Pitch Perfect 1-3) will be creating what we’ve been told will be a prime time adult comedy featuring characters from the Flintstones.

Now I really hope this is something new and not just a spin-off since “The New Fred and Barney show” and “The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show” were both spin-offs and failed terribly. On top of that they’ve had various TV specials along with two live action features (which I personally enjoyed) and in 2011 Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane also attempted to get a reboot off the ground but that didn’t go so well either.

Banks has been working with Warner Bros for some time now as they just renewed their contract, but with most of their work not being animated it should be interesting to see where they go with this and I for one am looking forward to it.
