Well that was fast! It was just the other day that El Mayimbe had a scoop about Nightwing in the Man of Steel sequel. Now according to The Wrap, the 6’3 29-year-old Girls star Adam Driver is the top contender to play Nightwing. He sport a unique look which the rumor states WB was looking for.
Two individuals familiar with the project have told the Wrap this info. A source also tells them that at least two other actors may be in the mix to play Dick Grayson, the Dark Knight’s former sidekick, who’s been estranged from Bruce Wayne for years in the movie, according to El Mayimbe.
This does at least seem to point to the fact that Nightwing will be in the film.

Batman Vs Superman is being scripted by David S. Goyer from a story he co-created with Snyder. Man of Steel‘s Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the film along with Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also reprise their roles in the sequel. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
