No Bothans died to bring us this information.
During a recent episode of the Full of Sith podcast, host Bobby Roberts revealed that he heard from multiple sources that academy award winning actress Dame Judi Dench, best known for her role as M in the James Bond series, will be playing Mon Mothma in Star Wars: Episode VII.
Dench of course is a talented actress and the role would be hers for the taking, but is this a case of just throwing out names during casting?
Do you want Judi Dench as Mon Mothma?
Star Wars: Episode VII will be directed by J.J. Abrams from a script that he wrote with Lawrence Kasdan. The movie is rumored to focus on a new generation of heroes and could include appearances by Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in older versions of their iconic characters from the original Star Wars trilogy. The film is expected to begin production in Spring of 2014 and will hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
