The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will of course be at San Diego Comic-Con and is showcasing a first look at Jaime Foxx’s Electro. The panel for the Spidey sequel will take place in Hall H on Friday, July 19 at 4:05 p.m., but thanks to Coming Soon.net we first have this cool piece of footage that was captured at the film’s Comic-Con cage teasing the reveal!
“In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Chris Cooper, Felicity Jones and Sally Field.
The film is set to swing into theaters May 2nd, 2014.
The third film will be released on June 10, 2016, and the fourth on May 4, 2018.
