Signal Boost! Kickstarter Round Up

March 7th, 2015 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Legendgerry rounds up what’s good on Kickstarter right now from comics to smartwatches.

COMIC:

Living With Death: Murder At Oxford

Critically acclaimed mystery crime comic by writer Glenn Matchett and artist Antonio Brandao are teaming up to bring a four part series Living With Death back to life. The first issue was published by Gray Haven comics some time ago but despite favourable reviews circumstances at the time prevented the rest of the series being published. Now the creator is teaming up with a new artist to complete the series. The story itself is a homage to the old school detective stories, Agatha Christie and so forth, which centres around the death of an Oxford student in the early eighties.

If you like a good story and supporting independent comics check this out.

BOARDGAME:

You may remember in our interview with Andrew Hasrman (designer of Frankensteins Bodies) He told us about his next project Sandcastles in which players do battle to have the best Sandcastle on the beach, his previous game was excellent and this one was extensively playtested before they launched. Check out their video:

TECH:
Introducing the Artiphon INSTRUMENT 1

Okay, this is in the round up not because it needs your backing (it’s already more than funded) but because some things are just cool and people should know they exist. I wish I had the funds for one of these. Seriously this things right out of a fairly pleasant sci-fi future.

And Finally

Pebble Time!

The Pebble time Smartwatch just bacame the single most funded project in the history of  Kickstarter, it currently stands at $16,625,399 with 20 days left to the end of the project. Check it out!
