The third man to play James Bond has thrown his weight behind Poldark star Aidan Turner becoming the next 007.
Speaking to Talk Radio, Sir Roger Moore was asked his opinion on the next actor after Daniel Craig recently went back on saying he no longer wanted to play the British spy. He also weighed into the debate on whether James Bond could become, erm, Jane Bond.
“I do think [Poldark actor] Aidan Turner looks very good,” he said. “You could have a female, a Jane Bond, but it would have nothing to do with James Bond. No, Bond is Bond.”
Earlier this year, Gillian Anderson threw her hat into the ring as the next Bond, and despite my love for her this journalist agrees with Sir Rog!
