Next year’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reboot film will see Rita Repulsa getting a massive upgrade to her backstory, if Nerdist News is correct.
The site is claiming, via The Wrap, that Rita (played by Elizabeth Banks) isn’t just setting up to create the Green Ranger, she is the Green Ranger! Ofcourse, she was the original Green Ranger around 65 million years ago.
As for giant energy head, Zordon was the Red Ranger so will we see Bryan Cranston wear the Red Ranger suit in the new movie as well?
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is set for release in March 2017.
