Robert Redford was the subject of a profile piece by entertainment journalist Will Lawrence, published in a recent edition of The Straits Times’ Life! section. When he was asked about his character in the Captain America sequel:
“I like the idea of playing a villain… I did that just because it’s a different thing for me to do.”
So there could possibly be a major plot twist in the film that reveals his character is actually a villain. I could totally see Redford playing a bitter old villain in this movie, and it actually make more sense now why they cast such a big name actor for what was thought to be a minor role.
This hasn’t been confirmed, but what do you think of the possibility of Redford playing a villain in this movie?
