Star Trek 3 is filming in Vancouver folks… da da da, da da da da daaaaaaa…
Apparently the movie is being filmed under the title ‘Washington’ and is filming at the Squamish Boulders until the 30th of this month.
Zachary Quinto posted the Spock image above and below on his Instagram with the message:“In honor of my first day back and the memory of my dear friend leonard go to: http://bit.ly/LoveOfSpock and support his son adam’s documentary: For The Love Of Spock!”
Zoe Saldana also used here Instagram to share the image at the bottom of the page if her getting her new Star Trek ‘do.
Quinto also talked a little about the story of the new movie: “I think the five-year mission will be a part of this next film in some way. We’re coming up on the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic sci-fi series in entertainment history so it’s inherently an ongoing story. But I do think that we’ll feel some sense of evolution in these characters that’s been building through the first few films.”
So there you have it… we are now officially boldly going…
Star Trek 3 is due in cinemas on July 8th 2016 with Fast and Furious director Justin Lin at the helm.
