It’s Back! The National Show Centre, Dublin sees the return of Star Wars for another Invasion event brought to you by The Emerald Garrison and featuring Following The Nerd. Taking place on October 16th, 17th and 18th, this three day Star Wars spectacular promises to be bigger than ever before!
There will be original Star Wars Trilogy Guests including the legendary Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Kenny Baker (R2 D2) and Tim Dry (who played multiple characters in Return of the Jedi), not to mention a number of costume characters from various Star Wars films, the Clone Wars and the Star Wars Universe.

Attendees will be able to get their picture taken with Darth Vader, The Emperor and Stormtroopers or perhaps go toe-to-toe (or should that be Lightsaber to Lightsaber) with various Jedi! There will Rebels, Imperials, Clone Troopers and perhaps even a Bounty Hunter or two.
Walk around the various props and sets such as the Rebel Base on Hoth, ride the Dewback (Warning: Hold on with Both Hands!) or stand before the mighty Jabba the Hutt (in his full size and beastly glory).

Throughout the weekend there will be various activities taking place such as The Jedi Academy where Padawans can learn the ways of the Force (strictly no SITH!), or perhaps have your face painted like Yoda or even Darth Maul.
The Original Trilogy Guests will be on hand over the weekend for autograph signings, photo opportunities and they will also be taking part in various Q&A sessions hosted by Marc and Saxon from your very own FTN; be prepared to hear form the actors themselves on what it was like to actually film the exciting movie series.

As if that wasn’t enough, there will be a number of vendors there from across the known universe with various toys, replica props and collectors items so now’s your chance to get that missing piece from your collection.
Following The Nerd will be there too taking part in this intergalactic extravaganza (hey, it’s Star Wars. Did you really think we wouldn’t be there!) So come on down to The National Show Centre, Dublin for a weekend that is out of this Galaxy!
