Good news for fans of Star Wars animated series The Bad Batch on Disney+ as it’s been revealed that, with the final episode looming in season one, a second season is coming.
Yes, Hunter, Tech, Echo, Wrecker and Omega will all be back in 2022 – so don’t bet on this season having a nice finale, wrapped up in a big bow.
The series follows Clone Force 99 AKA The Bad Batch, a team of Clonetroopers who have removed the chips in their heads and therefore aren’t under the control of the newly-formed Empire and have to survive in the galaxy by any means necessary while trying to do the right thing and stay alive.
While the series started very strongly, it meandered a lot during the first season and I’m hoping it ends with a bang on Friday but I do like the characters and I am invested in them, so I will be back when they return in 2022.
Thoughts?
“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War.
Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
