Van Helsing reboot gets a writer

February 27th, 2017 by bash Comments

Wrath of the Titans scribe Dan Mazeau has been hired to write the script for monster reboot Van Helsing.

Mazeau is part of Universal’s Monsterverse writers’ room, the first movie of which to arrive from this hive of minds is the Tom Cruise-starring The Mummy.

Abraham Van Helsing first appeared in Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula but is probably most famous in recent years for the Hugh Jackman-led Van Helsing movie back in 2004.

His character – an expert in the occult as well as a formidable warrior – has influenced numerous characters in comics and pop culture, including Doctor Strange.

More as we get it.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
