Vin Diesel will star in a new action-adventure film called World’s Most Wanted. Screenwriter Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans) is taking a crack at re-writing the script. The project launched from a pitch by Will Staples & Sean O’Keefe, who wrote the earlier draft. Nothing about it is really known, we can assume he’ll be playing some sort of international badass.
Mazeau also recently adapted the popular Japanese manga series Bleachas a feature film for Warner Bros. and director Pete Segal. He is also attached to write Yukikaze for Warner Bros. as well.
Deadline also reports that a xXx sequel is in development. This is interesting because earlier this week Vin Diesel posted the image below on his Facebook page teasing the same. I guess it’s pretty much official.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the xXx movies, but maybe they’ll take this opportunity to improve on them much like they did with the Fast and Furious franchise.
