WATCH: Bruce Timm’s 75th Anniversary Short Batman: Strange Days released

April 11th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

So, in case you didn’t know (and let’s be honest, how could you NOT know?) this year is the 75th anniversary of Batman. The Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, etc., etc. And everyone is celebrating. Us here at FTN included, we did a BIG feature on what Batman has meant to both the world at large, and to us as fans.

But DC isn’t pulling any punches either. Much like how they celebrated Superman’s 75th anniversary last year, they’re making some fun little animated shorts for Batman. One was released today, and was made by none other than Bruce Timm of Batman: TAS fame….and you know just about every other DC cartoon that came out since. Just saying.

It’s titled Batman: Strange Days, and follows the Dark Knight as he tracks down Doctor Huge Strange to his evil lair! Check it out below, and feel free to let us know some of your favorite memories of Batman!
