Peggy Carter Is Returning To Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

November 4th, 2014 by Andrew McCarroll Comments

Having already been confirmed to be a part of the upcoming Ant Man, Peggy Carter will also be popping up in another episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Carter of course already appeared in the season 2 premiere, with Dum Dum Dugan, Jim Morita and other U.S. soldiers seizing a Hydra base from Werner Reinhardt, who is operating in the present as Daniel Whitehall.

The November 18 episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., titled “The Things We Bury,” will feature another appearance from Haley Atwell as Carter. “Agent Carter” will debut her own series
while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on hiatus in January, Agent Carter will follow Peggy as she accustoms herself to post-war life and performs secret missions for Howard Stark.

In keeping with Marvel synergy the episode will also star Lou Ferrigno Jr, whose father played the Hulk in the 1978 TV series The Incredible Hulk.

Are you excited for the spin off show to debut? At the rate Marvel are developing shows and movies I would think a spin off series focusing on the shawarma restaurant seen in the Avengers post credit scene can’t be far off.

Andrew McCarroll never quite built on the dizzying career heights that he hit at 6 years old, when as a member of the “Ghostbusters” he would charge his neighbours to remove any unwanted spectres. Now retired from slaying spooks, he spends his time obsessing over superheroes (especially Batman) and devouring shows like Dexter, Game of Thrones and Archer in a manner that would make Galactus proud.
