Deadline are reporting that Kirk Ward has signed on to play Tallahassee in a TV version of Zombieland.
Tyler Ross, Izabela Vidovic and Maiara Walsh have already been confirmed as Columbus, Little Rock and Wichita respectively.
Planned for 30-minute episodes, the “television” version of “Zombieland” returns the franchise to its original concept of an ongoing serialized comedy adventure.
The original film, directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, starred Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin as a group of survivors trying to stay alive in the face of the zombie apocalypse. Ward’s role is the one played by Harrelson in the original film.
