Arguably the “greatest” video game film franchise of all time is Resident Evil. Not necessarily for bringing in big box office numbers per se, but because it has simply lasted longer than any other video game adaptation ever. Period!
However, the movie series is coming to an end with Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and with news that pre-production has begun, news about casting has begun. Starting with the reveal that Ali Larter will return to play Claire Redfield one last time.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter picks up after the events of Resident Evil: Retribution, as the Project Alice is forced to race against time before the villainous Red Queen attempts to destroy the final remnants of humanity.
