So you may recall a few weeks back there was a lot of talk that Henry Cavill may be done playing Superman in the DC Cinematic Universe (here).
And then there was nothing… rumours that Cavill may only appear in cameo roles in upcoming DC movies and other rumours that DC/Warners are searching for a new Man of Steel were abundant, but we heard very little else.
Until last night.
Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane in the DC movies, was interviewing Nicole Kidman, star of the upcoming Aquaman, and Kidman asks her about the DC movies and Adams, without flinching, replies: “I think I’m out of the DC Universe now. I think they’re revamping that. I don’t know the details.”
Eek.
If Adams is right, then cold this mean that Cavill is indeed finished as Superman? It would make sense that, if Cavill is out, then, sadly, so too is Adams.
Listen to the actress herself in the clip below, and let us know what you think…
