With the world going mad for Frozen – I have a 5-year-old girl, my life revolves around Anna and Elsa – Walt Disney Animation Studios have announced a new animated short, Frozen Fever, for Spring 2015.
I guess they aren’t prepared to, ahem, let it go…
The short will play in cinemas and will be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck (who did the movie) and produced by Peter Del Vecho, with an all-new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
The announcement was made during ABC special The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic.
The story goes: “In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.”
So, just chill out until next Spring.
