We reported last week that Joe Carnaghan will be directing Bad Boys 3 and now we have a little more info on the movie itself.
The movie will star Will Smith and Martin Lawrence (obviously) and will be called Bad Boys For Life.
It will no longer have a summer 2018 release date but rather will land on January 12th 2018.
While nothing is confirmed, story rumours go as thus: “real-time progression (13 years since Bad Boys II) sees Detective Mike Lowrey (Smith) now married with kids, much like his partner Marcus Burnett (Lawrence). Having Lowrey stumbling through parenthood while Marcus is cruising into retirement, kids all raised, is a premise for a lot of classic Bad Boys-style comedy.”
So there you have it. Now ask yourself, what ya gonna do?
Sony’s BAD BOYS 3 is now titled BAD BOYS FOR LIFE–and will NOT be released next summer, instead drops January 12, 2018.
