A couple of weeks back we learned that Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown had joined the cast of the upcoming Godzilla 2 and now we’ll know who will play her mother.
Bates Motel’s Vera Farmiga has joined the cast of the monster movie as Brown’s on screen mum while already cast Kyle Chandler will play the dad of the character.
Very little is known about the movie – the third in Legendary’s shared universe coming after Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island.
We know that Krampus director Michael Dougherty is helming from a script he penned with Zach Shields and that it looks likely that Ken Watanabe (who uttered the normal immortal ‘let them fight’ in the first movie) will return for the sequel.
Godzilla: King of Monsters hits cinemas on March 22nd, 2019, with the monster mash-up Godzilla vs. Kong slated for the following year on May 29, 2020.
