While I must admit that Space Jam didn’t really float my boat the way it did with many of my friends, I can understand why this would be exciting news for many, especially since the original movie is 20 next year (20!?).
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst announced on Twitter that LeBron James has signed deals with Warner Bros for film and TV, just as Warners filed new Trademarks for Space Jam.
Now, while it is clasping at straws somewhat, rumours abound that the sequel is in the planning stage for the 20th anniversary… does this mean, if it happens, that LeBron would star over Michael Jordan? Who knows, but the question now is, would you be excited for this?
We’re filing this under rumour of the highest calibre, but we get the feeling there might be something to this…
