Brian O’Halloran says he’s coming back for Jay & Silent Bob reboot…

We know that writer/director Kevin Smith is currently getting ready to get to work on Jay & Silent Bob Get Rebooted and now we know that it’s not just the two main characters who will be returning from the world that Smith has built on film.

Now we know that Smith alumni Brian O’Halloran is coming back too.

O’Halloran starred in Smith’s first movie, Clerks, as the downtrodden Dante Hicks and returned in several movies such as Mallrats and Dogma, so he’s no stranger to what is known as the Viewaskiewniverse.

“Yes, I’m definitely going to be a part of that,” says O’Halloran, “We’re going to have a couple of very funny bits with the Kevin Smith characters that I’ve portrayed. I’ve portrayed a number of them at this point, so I think we’re going to bring a variety of them back.”

Smith had been planning on going back to the Clerks and Mallrats movies and it was likely O’Halloran was going to return as Dante, however with both those projects falling through, it looks like we’re getting O’Halloran back… will it be as Dante behind the counter of the Quick Stop that he and Randall Graves bought at the end of Clerks II.

Are you excited for the return of Jay, Bob and Dante?

Let us know… and we’ll keep you posted as more news comes along.
