Bryan Singer teases X-Men: Apocalypse script

July 1st, 2014 by Marc Comments

Bryan Singer has joined Instagram and he has released a tease of the first page of the X-Men: Apocalypse script…

And, to be fair, there’s both not much in the pic and also lots to chew over… the mention of The Nile and The Four Horsemen alone is worthy of a mention.

The Four Horsemen, according to Marvel are: “The Horsemen of Apocalypse are mutants who either willingly volunteer or are abducted and manipulated into the service of Apocalypse. They take their names from the biblical Horsemen Death, War, Famine, and Pestilence. They are almost always genetically modified by Apocalypse in order to enhance their abilities, or even grant them additional abilities. One such example was Archangel, who after losing his wings, was taken in by Apocalypse, who granted him metallic wings, with feathers that could be used as projectiles.”

Anyway, check out Singer’s page here

In other news, Box Office Mojo have released the list of the ten biggest movies on 2014 now that we’ve reached the half-way point and while Superhero movies are the clear money-makers, Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past is the winner… so far:

1. X-Men: Days Of Future Past ($712.7 million)

2. Captain America: The Winter Solider ($711.2 million)

3. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ($703.7 million)

4. Maleficent ($585.6 million)

5. Godzilla ($488.1 million)

6. Rio 2 ($470.2 million)

7. The LEGO Movie ($467.2 million)

10. Edge of Tomorrow ($318.7 million)

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
