Filmmaker Travis Zariwny is currently directing a reboot of Eli Roth’s horror movie Cabin Fever which has just started filming in Portland at the weekend.
The reboot will star Gage Golightly (Teen Wolf), Dustin Ingram (Paranormal Activity 3), Samuel Davis (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series), Matthew Daddario (Delivery Man) and Nadine Crocker (Deadgirl)… but – and here’s the kicker – it will be based on the exact same script that Eli Roth wrote for his original 2002 movie.
Seriously, at least MOST reboots at least create new scripts…
Roth said: “Travis had an amazing vision for my original script, and as a scary movie fan I really wanted to see it. I almost see this like re-staging a play, and I’m excited to see what ideas Travis and the cast bring to it. They’re all fans of the original and want to make a film that’s a new classic and I believe they will.”
