Check out Jurassic’s World new spliced Dinosaur – the D-Rex

June 2nd, 2014 by Marc Comments

Ok, we’re starting to think there’ll be nothing left to reveal by the time Jurassic World comes arounds…

Remember when Colin Trevorrow said in Jurassic World we’d see hybrid dinosaurs? Well this beauty is what happens when scientists take the best parts of various dinos and mix them all together…

The guys at Joblo have revealed the above image of the so called D-Rex – but remember that this is concept art and could change by the time the movie hits… and it’s certainly cooler than we all imagined when we heard about hybrid dinosaurs.

Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the first film.

Steven Spielberg returns to produce. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley join the team as fellow producers.

The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Vincent D’Onofrio, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and BD Wong reprising his role from the first film as Dr. Henry Wu.

Jurassic World is set to open on June 12th, 2015.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
