Looks like, as expected, the cast of characters in Thor: Love and Thunder is beefing up with a few familiar faces.
New reports have it that Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt (Starlord) and Vin Diesel (Groot) are in Australia right now for the production of the fourth Thor movie in the MCU.
This is, of course, a rumour that has been around for a while – with Asguardians of the Galaxy being a popular fan-name before the Love and Thunder one appeared – but now it seems that, just like Thor: Ragnarok, this Thor movie will take place in the cosmic side of the MCU and it makes sense given that Thor and the Guardians were together at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
Director Taika Waititi will be stepping up again, just as he did with Ragnarok and again, he’s handling writing duties too and he’ll be over seeing the Guardians stars as well as Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkryie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Christian Bale as the big bad in the movie.
