Well, what have we here?
Rumour is (see below Tweet) that the great Christophe Waltz has been spotted on the London set of the now-filming Bond 25 as returning villain, Blofeld.
Now, we all know that at the end of Spectre, Blofeld was alive and well (was he arrested? Honestly, that movie was so bad I’ve basically erased it from my memory), so his return was pretty much expected.
Reporter Baz Bambigoye reports that Waltz was seen on set and told the witness with a wink: “You haven’t seen me.”
But he alleges he did and here we are.
Waltz has denied his involvement in the movie, but it seems, like his alter-ego, he wasn’t entirely honest and Bond’s arch-enemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld is back to menace our hero.
We know that Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek is the villain in the movie, so could this be a return to classic bond where it’s revealed at Blofeld is the puppetmaster behind all the shenanigans? Perhaps.
What do you all think? Would Blofeld’s return be a welcome one? I want to know all your thoughts, gang.
The movie is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. It stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah and is set to arrive on April 3rd, 2020.
