While it’s not a big surprise given the mid-credit scene in Doctor Strange, it seems we now have confirmation that Jonathan Strange WILL join Hulk and Thor in this year’s Thor: Ragnarok.
And, we have to say, while we were looking forward to the third outing for Thor, this has just made us even more excited for it!
The announcement has come from D23, the official fan club for The Walt Disney Company, which has released a new mini synopsis for the movie in their list of things they are excited for in 2017 and it reads like this:
“‘Thor: Ragnarok’ in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.”
Given that the movie will feature the Ragnarok and Planet Hulk stories from the comics and now looks set to feature three major characters, What We Do In The Shadows director Taika Waititi has his work cut out for him, but we’d be liars if we said we weren’t really, really excited…
Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett and Benedict Cumberbatch and brings the war to us on November 3rd, 2017.
