Corey Stoll Lets Loose Details On Ant-Man…and Why He Thinks Ant-Man Can Beat Hulk In A Fight!

September 30th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

Alright, let’s get our fanboy (and fangirl) pride on and guess who would win in a fight. Ant-Man, or the Hulk? now at first, the answer might seem obvious, but not to the actor who is set to play YellowJacket in the upcoming Ant-Man film.

In an interview, that was cited by Comicbookmovie.com, Corey Stoll talked about why he thinks the man who shrinks can be the man who Hulks out.

“It’s so weird…if somebody were to [ask] ‘What [super]power would you want?’ you wouldn’t say, ‘I’d like to be able to shrink down to the size of an ant.’ That seems like being the opposite of a superhero, but when you actually think about all the things you could do if you were that small,  and you retained your fullsize strength, you would be sort of unbeatable. Like, I think the Ant-Man could beat the Hulk. He could shrink down and go up his nose, and you know, crush his brain. How is the Hulk gonna beat the Ant-Man? He’d be chasing him around.”

An interesting, answer, and one that has been played up on in both DC and Marvel with their shrinking heroes. And speaking of the “go up his nose” part…

On the topic of the Ant-Man movie itself, Stoll revealed how he sees his character, Yellowjacket.

“”He is not a villain in the vein of Thanos or Loki, who are villains that know it. [Cross] is a guy who is not that dissimilar from Michael Douglas’ character, Hank Pym. A brilliant scientist, who is not ethicnally pure. I think a great thing about the whole movie is that everybody in this movie is in those shades of gray a little bit. I think it will be a fun character to create.”

So what do you think? On both of these? Let us know!

Ant-Man sizes up the competition on July 17, 2015.
