At the end of Days of Future Past we all got the feeling that it was goodbye with the old cast and in with the new, however it may not be quite that clear cut.
According to producer Simon Kindberg who, talking to The Daily Beast, said that it likely that, despite the fact that the movie is set in the 1980s, we will see some of the older cast too: “[Apocalypse] will focus primarily on the First Class cast, but it will certainly have some of the original cast involved too.”
This ties in with Patrick Stewart who recently said he ‘might’ be returning to the next movie.
