It looks lie Creed II has found Ivan Drago’s son… and Adonis Creed could be in pretty serious trouble.
The sequel to Creed II has been promising to put the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) in the ring with the son of Ivan Drago (Doplh Lundgren), the man who killed him and it’s going to happen later this year.
Fans of the Rocky franchise will recall the epic fight between Drago and Creed in Rocky IV:

Well now it look like Michael B Jordan’s Adonis will step into the ring with real life boxer Florian Munteanu.
Stallone shared the news (below) and described Munteanu as “27 years old , 6 feet four, 245 pounds of talent”. Eek!
That’s all we know for now, but given that Drago killed Creed’s father who was also Rocky’s best friend and idol, this could be an emotional battle as well as a physical one.
Creed II is directed by Steven Caple Jr and will star Micheal B Jordan as Adonis Creed, Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa and Dolph Lundgren will reprise the role of Ivan Drago.
