There’s not much to report on this story at the minute except to say that the 25th official James Bond movie is now, once again, seeking a director.
While we were all pretty excited to have Danny Boyle step up to helm a Bond adventure, it seems that the director has left the production for that old reason… Creative Differences.
The official Bond Twitter account broke the news earlier tonight with the following words:
“Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25.”
The previous official announcement read: “Daniel Craig’s 5th outing as 007, will be directed by Academy Award-winning Danny Boyle from an original screenplay by John Hodge. Production is set to begin on 3 Dec 2018. MGM will partner with Universal Pictures to release the film worldwide.”
With Boyle gone it’s possible the movie will begin to film late… but we’ll keep you posted as and when we hear more.
Thoughts?
