Did Rogue Nation Writer “Polish Up” Rogue One Script?

It’s a big time for Star Wars fans, as a new poster and trailer for The Force Awakens has come and will be coming very soon. But now, word on the first Star Wars Anthology Film, Rogue One, has gotten some attention. The movie was written by Gary Whitta originally, but then he left the project.

Now, rumors are swirling that Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation writer Christopher McQuarrie actually did some “polishing” on the script to Rogue One before it was to begin major production. No word on whether this actually happened, or if the script he polished was kept.

But we love the idea of his involvement…
