So last week we got our first look at Isabela Moner as the titular character of Dora in the live-action Dora The Explorer movie which is being produced my Michael Bay which you can see at the bottom of the page and now we have a new cool addition to the movie.
The movie is currently in production in Queensland, Australia, with James Bobin directing and has added ant-man star Michael Pena and Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria as her parents.
Eugenio Derbez, Micke Moreno, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, Adriana Barraza and Temuera Morrison round out the main cast.
The film’s story sees a high school-bound Dora finding herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego and a rag-tag group of teens on a Goonies-esque adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.
THR reported that “Nick Stoller, writer-director of The Muppets and Neighbors, is scripting the movie which will be produced by Platinum Dunes, the production company run by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, is producing.
“Details are being kept under wraps, but the live-action take is said to center on Dora, not as a 7-year-old as on the TV series but now a teenager who moves to the city to live with her cousin Diego.
