The reboot for the Fantastic Four franchise is underway, and today via Schmoes Knows, we got possible plot details!
First off, apparently Sue Storm and Johnny will NOT be biological siblings. In the movie, Sue will be adopted by Johnny’s family. So there you go, no more speculation needed.
Second, unlike the mainstay comics and the movies based off of them, the Fantastic Four will get their powers via a lab accident in which they’re exposed to another dimension or world. This is very similar to the Marvel Ultimate versions of the Fantastic Four, which has long been rumored to be the inspiration for the reboot.
Finally, the movie is said to be very character-driven. With the hopes of cementing the relationships between the Four and their nemesis Victor Von Doom.
