Fate Of The Furious director signs on to MASK movie. Yes!

This is awesome news! It looks like the MASK (Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand) toys/series/comics is getting the big screen treatment!

It’s been revealed that Paramount and Hasbro have hired The Fate of the Furious and Straight Outta Compton’s F Gary Gary to direct a live-action MASK movie.

The movie will be based on the awesome 80s toys that featured an elite team of crime fighters who had everyday vehicles that became tanks, helicopters, boats etc and whose main enemy was VENOM a team of evil doers who has similar tech vehicles.

Honestly, it was more awesome than it sounds.

The quest right now is to get a writer on board to make this happen as Gary is currently working on the Men In Black reboot with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

There’s not word if MASK is still part of the shared universe featuring the likes of GI Joe and Transformers, although we can definitely seem them all being the same world and we could actually imagine the Transformers being the reason the transforming vehicles exist… maybe the humans have used Transformers physiology to develop these vehicles?

Works for us.

Anyway, with Gray behind this we honestly are expecting big, exciting fun.

What say you all?
