Get ready Resident Evil fans, Alice is about to gear up as filming is set to start for the finale of the horror action franchise. Website Coming Soon has shared this picture from Jovovich’s Instagram from the sixth film’s pre-production phase.
After having a new baby, star Milla Jovovich and writer/director/husband Paul W.S. Anderson will get down to filming in August in Cape Town, South Africa, as well as a few other undisclosed locales. Set to return as Resident Evil protagonist Chris Redfield is Wentworth Miller of Prison Break and The Flash fame.
Here’s hoping they take this franchise out with a bang. Personally I’ve been hooked since the first film when I saw a man cubed by a laser net, and am excited for the film franchise’s final bow.
