FIRST LOOK at Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven in The Crow remake

February 28th, 2024 by Marc Comments

We have our first look at IT and John Wick 4 star Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven AKA The Crow in the upcoming summer release/remake.

The movie has been held back for a while now and there was a rumour that a big part of it was because in the movie The Crow looks more than a little like Jared Leto’s Joker… and it’s clear to see why.

I’m a big fan of The Crow series and will not be put off by the different look of the titular (anti) hero.

What say you all?

Bill Skarsgård takes on the iconic role of THE CROW in this modern reimagining of the original graphic novel by James O’Barr.

Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

Starring Bill Skarsgård, FKA twigs, and Danny Huston

Directed by: Rupert Sanders

Written by: Zach Baylin, and William Schneider

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
