Well, it’s kinda cool to see Stallone back as Rocky, right? Right? Anyone?
Anyway, Warner Bros and MGM are filming the Rocky spinoff Creed inPhiladelphia and here’s your first look at Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan in the movie.
Creed will follow the son of Apollo Creed with Stallone set to reprise his Rocky Balboa role, acting as the younger Creed’s reluctant trainer. The elder Creed, played by Carl Weathers, appeared in the first four “Rocky” films until a fight with Ivan Drago in Rocky IV led to his death in the ring.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film is also produced by Stallone along with Robert Chartoff, Kevin King Templeton, and Irwin Winkler. Nicolas Stern is executive producer. Creed was co-written by Aaron Covington and Coogler.
The movie arrives on November 25th, 2015
