Warners have released new promo images for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Angry Birds and Assassin’s Creed…

We’ve seen some stuff from BvS but now we have our first look at Angry Birds and Assassin’s Creed ahead of  this week’s Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the highly-anticipated action adventure starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film  also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman. The Zack Snyder-directed film opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.

20th Century Fox and Ubisoft Motion Pictures’ Assassin’s Creed movie stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. The film, to be directed by Justin Kurzel, is scheduled to start shooting this August for a December 21, 2016 release. The film is being co-financed by RatPac and Alpha Pictures. Frank Marshall, Arnon Milchan, Jean-Julien Baronnet, Conor McCaughan, Fassbender and Pat Crowley are producing. Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Lesslie wrote the script.

The Angry Birds voice cast is led by Jason Sudeikis as Red, a bird with a temper, with Josh Gad as the speedy Chuck and Danny McBride voicing the volatile Bomb. Supporting them are Bill Hader as a pig, Maya Rudolph as Matilda and Peter Dinklage will play Mighty Eagle. Also lending their voices to the video  game adaptation are Keegan-Michael Key, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz, Hannibal Buress, Cristela Alonzo, Jillian Bell, Danielle Brooks, singer Romeo Santos and YouTube stars Smosh (Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla). Written by “The Simpsons” alum Jon Vitti and directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, the Angry Birds movie is set to debut in the US on May 20, 2016.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
