Look, we know that to the average person this isn’t a big deal, but to us at FTN it is!

We can’t let it go!

After learning nearly two months ago that Uncle George (we call him this because all the Star Wars stuff we’ve bought over the years has almost certainly put at least one of his kids through college and we figure that makes us family) hadn’t seen the trailer for The Force Awakens (here), we’ve obsessed a little over it.

We can’t explain it, we just have. But obsess no more, for the maker has watched it!

“I saw the trailer,” Lucas told the New York Post’s Page Six.

“I saw it in a theater because I don’t watch movies online.”

Ok, you tease, did you like it?! “Yeah,” he said, “it was intriguing”.

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18th, 2015.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
