Golden Globes round-up 2014

The award season has finally kicked off with the 71st Golden Globes which were held on Sunday past (January 12, 2014) and saw wins for American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club and 12 Years a Slave for the film awards and Breaking Bad for television.

American Hustle came away with the most awards, picking up three out of the seven it was nominated for, winning Best Supporting Actress for a Musical or Comedy, Best Motion Picture and Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.

Other films to pick up awards were the Dallas Buyers Club which went away with two and 12 Years a Slave which only managed to pick up one despite being up for six.

When it comes to the TV side of the awards Breaking Bad walked away with two including Best Actor in a drama series for Bryan Cranston. Behind the Candelabra was the only other double award winner in the TV section.
