It’s probably the sign of a slow news day when we’re reporting about the classification of a film’s trailer, but both Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Logan have them on the way, and the facts are in.

James Gunn’s extraterrestrial sequel will be seeing a trailer very soon, and according to the British Board of Film Classification, its material is worthy of a PG rating here in the UK. Not surprising, saying the mass appeal of its predecessor.

The first Logan trailer we’ll be getting, according to the BBFC, will come in at a 1m 46s runtime, and is rated 15. That means there should be a healthy splatter of violence, as one would expect from a film that has been flaunting its push towards edgier material since the success of Deadpool.

Logan hits cinemas on 3rd March 2017.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 land on 5th May 2017.
