Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn has announced that the film has wrapped production and that the Marvel sequel will indeed have a presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con according to our friends over at Squareeyed.tv.

Gunn, as has become natural for him, revealed the news in a live video on his Facebook page. Gunn teased their appearance at this year’s SDCC by saying he’ll be bringing a “bunch of the gang” to show us “something pretty cool.” Yes, it’s almost certainly the first teaser trailer for the sequel to the 2015 smash hit.

“We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year,” Gunn announced. “We’re going to be there, I’m going to be there, Chris Pratt is going to be there, a bunch of the gang is going this year and we’re going to show you something pretty cool.”

Along with Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Vin Diesel (Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Sean Gunn (Kraglin/On-Set Rocket) and Michael Rooker (Yondu) all return for the sequel, which has added Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) as one of Yondu’s ravagers, and Elizabeth Debicki in the rumored role of the villainous Ayesha.

Gunn also teased fans in unveiling his last ‘What We Shot Wednesday’ storyboard. Have a look at it below:

Chris Pratt heaped glowing praise on Gunn after wrapping filming, calling him the best in the business and teasing that Guardians 2 will be the ‘greatest spectacle.’

“I’m telling you all something. You are now part…They can never take this away from us. This is going to be the greatest spectacle film of all time. And each of us has our name on it, each of us has a piece of it. And for our entire lives, people are going to be really impressed that we did this movie. For the rest of your careers.

“The reason you’re here, is because you are the best in the business at what you do. And if anyone doesn’t believe, if you don’t believe it, just give it a year and wait for this movie to come out, and you’ll see. You kicked ass. And most importantly, I want to do this on behalf of the cast as well, I want to thank James, who made a 90 day shoot efficient, on time, under budget…Nobody ever does that. And it’s due to preparation.”
