In celebration of Alien Day, Neill Blomkamp posted some more concept art from his version of Alien 5, which we’re still hoping we’ll see at some point despite being delayed to accommodate Ridley Scott’s Prometheus prequels/sequels/whatever the hell they are.
Anyway, Blomkamp has confirmed the return of Newt, the character who died in between Aliens and Alien 3 but Alien 5 is set to ignore 3 & 4 in favour of a new timeline, therefore explaining how she is still alive now.
Of course he has also planned on bringing back Michael Biehn’s Hicks (here) too. Interestingly, Biehn had apparently already confirmed Newt’s inclusion in the movie if it ever happens (here)
