Happy Batman Day, everyone!
Yes, it’s Saturday September 17th and it’s the day when we all gather around and worship the Bat.
To help with the tidings, Warners and Zack Snyder have given us three images that have made our Gotham City loving hearts all a flutter.
First up, Zack Snyder, director of Man of Steel and Batman V Superman and is currently filming Justice League, has shared a great new image of one of FTN’s favourite actors, JK Simmons, as the one and only Commissioner James Gordon…

Snyder also shared an image of himself beside the same Bat Signal on top of the GCPD:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
On top of that, because – let’s be honest – you can never have enough Batman, Warners have shared a new poster for the upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie:
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO® BatmanMovie.” But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
Will Arnett reprises his role as Batman and he will be joined by Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, and Mariah Carey as Mayor Marion Grange.
The LEGO Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10th, 2017. Happy Batman day!
And finally, not officially released for Batman Day, a new image has appeared that gives us an up-close look at The Flash’s battle suit that we saw when he contacted Bruce Wayne in a vision (of sorts) in Batman V Superman.
The image is very interesting because it shows the Knightmare Future version of Flash – this is the future where the trench-coat wearing Batman is fighting Parademons and an evil Superman – which seems to be sporting some of Batman’s armour from his fight against Superman in BvS. But it also shows what looks like a battle-armoured Cyborg too which we saw no trace of in the movie.
We don’t think there are actual suits but rather models made for the movie… whatever they are, we want to see them in a future movie because, while not traditional, they are awesome!
